The code
You may download two versions of the code
The source code as of december 2015. This code has been tested under Linux and it contains the implementation of the mean and the gaussian model. We expect to include soon the histogram model. Download the source cod from this link. Any comments are wellcome.
A compiled version of the code for Mac's MATLAB can be downloaded here. The comparative table of Figure 7 of our paper has been performed using the latter code.

Here you have some videos that show how the cage evolves. On top we show the initial image and on the bottom the resulting image. Just click on the resulting image to download the corresponding video.
We show below the elephant image which has been segmented using the mean model and different initializations.

We show next some results with the castanet image. Again, we use the mean model and different initializations. On top we show the initial image and on the bottom the resulting image. Just click on the resulting image to download the corresponding video.

Finally we show results with the squirrel image. We use the gaussian model, same initialization but with different number of points for the cage.

The resutls for the multiresolution technique are shown. We start from the result of the 2nd column of the previous table and generate a new cage around the resulting contour that has a larger number of points. This is just a preliminary result but you may take a look at our paper for more information on this experiment.
